SIZE PROBLEMS

Most customers get the right size the first time (85%), especially if they measure carefully and follow the sizing instructions on the web site. Sizing is difficult since all sizes from a given manufacturer are not standard. The owner of Confession Leather recently stated to me that she has clothes from size 2 to size 10 in her closet and all fit her, it just depends on the manufacturer.  About 90% of our returns claim that a particular item is too small, and they also swear they followed the size charts on the page. 10% of returns for size, claim they purchased a size up as the charts recommend but the item is too big. What does this tell us?  It tells us that you are better off to err on the side of ordering larger, than ordering smaller.

Another easily spotted problem is worring about the size based on preconceived ideas. Manufacturers all have different requirements of sizing, for instance, a 3XL from one manufacturer is actually equal to an XL from another. Don't use these catagories, use actual measurements. Some customers claim that they would never wear a 3XL when in fact, they actually needed a 4XL.  Your best measurement is your actual size, for men, this is normally chest or waist size. For Ladies, the size that you would normally wear in standard ladies sizes, i.e. size 4, size 8, etc.

We realize you can't try on your items, however, we will gladly exchange your items. Due to the increase in shipping costs, and a decrease in our prices, YOU MUST INCLUDE A CHECK ($15.00) FOR RETURN SHIPPING OR YOU MUST CONSENT TO YOUR CREDIT CARD BEING CHARGED FOR SHIPPING.  PLEASE, measure carefully FIRST before placing an order and follow any of the guidlines on the pages in the website. For instance, when the site description says one size smaller, this means, one size smaller. (See below for a breakdown of size problems). Include your name, purchase date, PayPal transaction number or other transaction number and we will refund your PayPal account or back charge your credit card or even send you a check, Minus the Shipping charges or Express Shipping Fees and 10% Restock Fee,  after the item is received. Items must be in good original condition and packaged in original package if possible. Liners and pads if installed, must be in place and not loose. A 25% refurbish charge will be added to the 10% restocking charge if the item has liners, tags, pads, etc. sent loose with the return. K&G Enterprises will not accept COD packages.  Exceptions are shipping expenses paid for express shipping or foreign shipping charges. Customer is responsible for shipping back to K & G Enterprises. The 30 day starts from the DATE OF RECIEPT at your door.

Other Warrranties

FIRST MANUFACTURING LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY: Products that bear the FMC, First Classics, XPert Performance or First Racing labels are warranted for the life of the product for Zippers, Snaps, or loose stitching. This warranty does not cover broken items due to excessive wear and tear or due to an moving accident. To get your item repaired, send prepaid to: Repairs, First Manufacturing Company, 3800 W Oceanside Rd, Oceanside, NY  11572. Include a detailed note of what the problem is. Expect 2 to 3 weeks for repair to be completed and sent back.

CERTAIN ITEMS MAY HAVE SPECIAL WARRANTIES LISTED ON THE PAGE OF ORDER. PLEASE CONSULT THESE WARRANTIES BEFORE SENDING ITEMS BACK. If your item arrives damaged, does not fit or has a manufacturers defect, please e-mail us immediately at "help(at)discount-leather.net" for replacement. In your email, please tell us the reason for return, i.e. shipping damage, ill fitting, etc. Discount Leather Mart will respond with instructions for return of the merchandise and replacement. Please keep any shipping information, packaging materials, etc. to help us make a claim with the shipping company.

The Warranties listed above are the only Warranties. There are no Warranties for a Particular Purpose, Expressed or Implied and none shall be construed by law. Your rights vary from state to state.

We hate to say this, but because of Warranty and Exchange abuse by an increasing amount of people, we had to restrict our warranty and Exchange Policies from a "no questions asked", to the standard of most other web sites. Sorry.

WHEN SENDING ITEMS BACK, PLEASE PLACE NOTE OR COPY OF ORDER IN BOX AND INCLUDE YOUR NAME, ADDRESS AND REASON FOR RETURN.

Orders normally, but not always ship within two days of being placed, unless otherwise noted in the product description. Most orders are received within seven days of placement.  California residents will be assessed Sales Tax at 8.375%.

Items are Shipped without signature required because most of our customers do not want to sign. If your package is lost or stolen, Discount Leather Mart is NOT Responsible. As the purchaser, you can request that signature is required. If the tracking indicates that a package has been delivered, then we assume it was delivered and use the shippers tracking as proof. If your package is lost or stolen, and you charge back the item to your credit card comapny, we will take swift action to recuperate the funds, either by a collection agency or court.   If you believe that your package may be stolen, please request a signature required in the comments box of your shopping cart.

For customers that want two to three day express delivery, we can provide this service except for saddlebags. Choose your shipping option when you are in the CoolCart Checkout. Note, Overseas, Canadian, Alaska & Hawaii orders will be assessed an additional shipping fee. Please choose the correct location in the shopping cart to avoid delay. We are not responsible for duties and taxes due on overseas shipments. Your local post office will collect at time of delivery.

We will try to notify you as soon as your order is shipped and also give the estimated arrival date. Shipping is through DHL, FedEx Ground, UPS or United States Post Office. Orders are generally received within 7 days after placing the order. If there is a problem with your shipment, we will notify you. If you do not receive an order within 9 days, PLEASE let us know. We're not perfect and we may have overlooked something.

From time to time, we may face shortages of inventory. We try to stay on top of inventory and post to our web site but we may at times miss this. If you order an item that is out of stock or discontinued, we will immediately notify you when we find out and you may either wait for the order to become available, exchange or we can refund your payment. Just let us know.
