The Contest has Closed Down

We took a hard look at this contest over the last couple months. When we started the contest back in 2003, it was a way to bring people to a new website that was struggling to get traffic. In a way, we did that. As we look over our sales figures and where our traffic that purchases from us comes from today, we don't see any sales coming from the contest or even from any referrals from contestants relating to sales. We thought that perhaps the Google Ads on this page would help defer the cost of the contest, but the ads have only brought in less than $20 over the last 4 months. We spend twice that on email alone per month to our contestants not to mention the prize and shipping costs. The contest has been fun, but we decided that we have much more pressing needs for our time and money than the contest. Thanks to all of you who have supported the site and the contest throughout the years, but we will now call it quits after many, many winners and $1000's of dollars given away to the lucky winners.
