Embossed Leather Vests show the embossing by being lightly sanded on the top. These vests have variable amounts of sanding done on the embossing itself. Some embossing may look almost black while others may have a high contrast. If you would like to increase the contast, lightly sand the top of the embossing with 100 grit sand paper to remove the black. Make sure you move the sand paper on the top and not into the grooves of the embossing in order to get the highest contrast.
